Donations to the Foundation are vital to the School's strategy of delivering the highest possible standards of holistic education. They will also help us achieve our aspiration of being globally recognised as a leading comprehensive school that that shapes young people who impact their communities and their world for good.
Here are ten ways you can partner with us.
If you’d like to make a pledge in support of the School, it’s possible to spread the payments over three, four or five years.

Show your support by donating online and directing how you’d like your gift to the School be used.
As a parent, you can support the Foundation when paying your child’s School fees.
Every Term, you have the opportunity to include a tax-deductable, voluntary contribution of $250 that provides invaluable support on an ongoing basis.
‘Name a tile’ is a very popular initiative within the R A I Grant Centre.
Each $1000 tile will be a permanent record of your son’s or your family’s contribution to the School and will be displayed on the Aquatic Centre Donor Board.
There are still a few places available to those who’d like to take part in the Northbridge ‘Name a Picket’ appeal for $500 and the ‘Name a Seat’ appeal for $1000. Your name will be permanently on display in the Hawker Grandstand or the Football and Tennis stadium.

Auctions and Raffles are always the highlights of the fundraising events that the Foundation organises. Over the years, people have supported the School by donating such wonderful gifts as holidays and luxury items.
Over the years, many Shore students have enjoyed life-changing benefits from gifts made through wills. Should you choose this method of supporting the School’s future, you will immediately become a member of the 1889 society and receive a range of benefits.
Perhaps the easiest way of supporting the School is to make a monthly Direct Debit from your bank account or credit card.
You can access this process directly here.
Another option is to use Workplace Giving as a tax effective way of making your donation. As an employee, you can contribute a portion of your pre-tax salary to the Shore Foundation which is a Registered Charity with DGR status. You’ll receive an immediate tax benefit.
Some employers are prepared to match donations made to eligible charities. It’s worth checking as this would double the impact of your generosity.
As with all such decisions, we advise you to seek Financial and Tax advice regarding your individual circumstances.
The Australian Independent Schools USA Foundation (AISUSA) was established in 2006 and encourages individuals and organisations to support education through tax deductable donations.

The Chapel & York HK Foundation, formerly known as the Hong Kong Foundation for Charities, gives grants to charities around the world as directed by its donors. As a registered charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, Chapel & York are able to issue gift receipts for Hong Kong tax purposes.
