The opportunity to make a truly meaningful difference

Shore has enjoyed the privilege of nurturing young hearts and minds since 1889.

In those 135 years we’ve learned to stimulate and reward their curiosity with a desire to learn while creating a moral framework, based on our Christian faith, that instils a desire to live well and become valuable members of their communities.

Everyone who works here at the school plays a significant role in helping us deliver this holistic education. Everyone on staff can be a part of educating the head, heart and soul of the students who are entrusted to our care.

Needless to say, the quality of our staff is critical to our ability to provide the highest levels of education in all fields. We take great care and consideration in recruiting for roles in our Early Learning Centre (ELC) and K,1,2 School in Northbridge and our Preparatory and Senior School in North Sydney. Successful candidates are assured of growth opportunities in their roles and receive our unwavering support.

Our Community

All our members of staff, in both teaching and professional support roles, are part of a dedicated, highly trained and caring community.

We look after the students, and we look after each other. That is why our people enjoy long and fulfilling tenures in all areas of the School.

Our Mission

Our school motto is ‘Handing on the torch of life’.

As a team, we are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential and in turn shape the future by passing on their learnings and virtues to the next generation.
