During Week 8 Shore Staff and Students enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate Harmony Week.
It was wonderful to see the boys spend time reflecting on the importance of diversity and inclusiveness, and sharing in the many cultural stories and ideas relayed throughout the week.
We especially enjoyed Chapel readings presented each day by students in different languages. Thank you to Year 12 students Ollie, Jonathan, Daniel and Gideon as well as Yukai (Year 11), and Louis (Year 10).
Students indulged in delicious lunches from three food trucks on Tuesday and Friday — Gourmet Gozleme, Fire & Flames Pizza and Little Tokyo Japanese.
Many teachers joined in the celebrations on Friday by wearing cultural dress or the colour orange.
It was truly a wonderful week celebrating such an important event in our School year at Shore.
Thank you to Ms Tierney and the Harmony Week Team for their organisation and hard work, providing a special week of celebrations.
